Pond Work
The pond is being drained for maintenance.

As of mid-June the pond is refilling. Volunteers cleaned debris from the pond floor and sealed cracks in the asphalt lining. We’re hoping this will allow the pond to fill to its full depth and thereby allow the fountain to be once again operational.
The filling of the pond is being done by continuous running of the well pump and will take quite some time, as there’s a lot of water to be replaced — our lake is over one-half acre in size! Without any rain to assist us we expect the refill to be completed sometime in July.
