Leaves and Yard Waste

Seasons Greetings,

Just a friendly reminder.

No dumping of any kind in greenbelts or on islands, it is illegal to dump and we spent a lot of money to clean them up.

Thank you to residents whom work to keep their driveways clear of debris, please do not blow it in the roadway and leave it

Please, if you have a storm drain by your house, keep it clear of debris.

Greenbelt Cleanup Complete

We have completed the Green belt clean up. This was a long overdue project for our neighborhood. We hauled out 8 containers full of blackberry bushes, scotch boom, Ivy, downed limbs, and storm debris. We also dumped several trash bins full of cans, bottles, wooden siding, metal debris, carpet remnants, and general trash that found its way into the green belts over the years. The Ivy has been ringed at the base of every tree that needed it. Due to all this rain and work the trails will receive a much needed fresh top coat of wood chips to finish off the job as soon as the weather cooperates in the next few weeks. Mark and his crew at Landmark Landscape company did a great job, they were here every day on time, completed the job with in the budget we set and provided excellent customer service. Thank you for your patience over the last three weeks.

Tree Removal Update

Island Tree removal on the 89th Avenue Cul De Sac will continue on Monday December 14. The City approved the work months ago, however, they did not issue a permit until December 4th.  After removal of the trees another contractor will remove the stumps and haul away the debris on the islands. We have funds set aside to beautify the islands after this work is completed.

Thank you for your Patience.

GREENBELT CLEANUP

clearing2

The Greenbelt Clean up is now under way. The cleanup cosists of removing the years of acumilation of storm debris, fallen branches, sticker bushes, scotch broom and any other nuisance growth.. They are also ringing all the Ivy from around the trees and removing any debris that has been dumped in the green belts. This was also recommended by our arborist to support the health of our stand of trees and also for overall safety of our green belts in general.
Landmark Landscape company will be here for the next 2-3 weeks cleaning up the green belts. They are bringing in dumpsters for this cleanup. The dumpsters are not for residents to use. A contaminated load carries a very expensive fine. Thank you for your patience during this time.
