The pool water is green. the chemistry is correct and the pool company will be adding an extra day of cleaning. please make sure you shower before using the pool.
National Night Out 2017
Tuesday August 1, 2017 is the National Night Out gathering. New this year is the bouncy house from 5pm until 9pm. Ice Cream will be served from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Pond Parking lot.
POOL IS OPEN
The pool is open. Aqua Quip has been called to clean out the leaves. Feel free to use the screen to remove leaves if you like.
Emergent Pool Closure
The pool will close at 5pm today Sunday July 16. The sewer line is backed up so the bathrooms cannot be used. The health department mandates that the pool must close because of this. The work to clear this up should start tomorrow. The plumber could not fix today.

Archon Tree Service will start removing dangerous trees and preventative trimming tomorrow July 11th and complete the work Friday July 14.

Our annual safety inspection Report was submitted to City of University Place in June and Approved.
Archon Tree Service has rescheduled and will now be here on Friday July 14th to remove and trim trees indicated in the annual safety inspection.
Pond Light Pole Replacement.
Our light poles at the Pond parking strip are scheduled to be changed out the third week of August. The Repair Works, a local University Place lighting contractor was awarded the Job.
The current Light poles are not serviceable and will be replaced with a modern steel pole attached to a concrete base and an LED light fixture. We are not changing the configuration just removing the rotten wood poles and updating with efficient LED lights. this work is estimated to take 2 to 3 days and a locator service will come out to mark underground utilites and water prior to Job starting.
Pool Night light Broken.
Unfortunately the security light at the pool is not working properly and the night light located in the pool grass area has been busted off and left hanging. We have hired an electrician to repair the security light and also to replace the broken night light fixture. He will be on site this week ( July 3-7 ) to troubleshoot the lights and replace the broken fixture. Please report any act of vandalism if witnessed.

Please do not routinely park vehicles in the street in front of your home (Violation of CCR Amendment #2). Woodlake does not allow street parking. Our streets are narrow and there are no side walks in our community. Parking in the street causes unnecessary congestion and creates safety issues. This forces walking residents, children at play and vehicles to cross into on coming traffic to go around a vehicle parked in the street. It also obstructs emergency vehicles, garbage trucks and mail carriers form routine operations and emergency response. Parking is allowed in designated parking areas and driveways only. Please do not park vehicles on the street, in your front yard or next to an island.

Woodlake Projects Update
Water Leak associated with pool or pool house. American Leak Detection INC was hired to locate the leak. Waiting on report and remedy.
City of University Place approved the annual safety inspection report provided by the Certified Arborist. Annual Safety Inspection Tree Work is being scheduled now.
Green Belt and Pond storm debris pickup job that was postponed was rescheduled for the week of June 19th to the 23rd..
Noxious weed Control in common areas and Green belts completed first week of June.
We will be spreading wood chips on all green belt trails as soon as we get the final load of wood chips. Should be in the next few weeks.
